Brian Mylius is a Venice Beach based surrealist who is well known as the artist of the Bordello building on Westminster Ave, near the boardwalk.
“He is a Gulf War army veteran, who is both simultaneously whimsical and candid. He seems to have gone the way of hippie without loosing his edge. He has always reminded me of Van Gogh. He is the artist that paints the bordello on Westminster, if you have seen its in all its gaudy glory. Most of his other work does not ressemble the building.” [from flickr by “Perpetually”]
